Petition: Remove apostrophe's from the forum

There is actually a book about bad grammar called, 'Eats. shoots and leaves'. One woman has turned herself (and others who have read this book) into the Grammar Police...intent on uncovering every crime committed against the english language.

I say that she has too much time on her hands.

Haa haa - sounds like my mum! No, it's not, but whenever she's in a bad mood she corrects EVERYTHING you say - now I'm living 400 miles away!!

It kinda annoys me in real life when shop fronts can't use apostrophes correctly, like one in Edinburgh that said "We sell video's and dvd's" - to which I reply, "Video's and dvd's what? What item belonging to the videos and the dvds are you selling??" lol.

Doesn't annoy me too much in these forums, but sometimes I have to read something several times before it makes sense!
